The house is sold and must be transferred
After reaching a verbal agreement, we will carefully draft the purchase agreement. When all parties have signed, the sale is concluded. Upon receipt of a copy of this agreement, the buyer still has a reflection period of 3 days. After this period (and the lapse of possible conditions precedent), the sale is irrevocable and the buyer needs to pay a security deposit or submit bank guarantee with the notary (10% of the purchase price).
On the agreed transfer date, we will first do a final inspection at the house with all parties present and when the buyer deems everything to be in order, you and our broker will go to the notary’s office. When the transfer deed is signed at the notary, you are no longer the owner of the house and you can hand over the keys.
